When is the best day/time to sample the BBQ for attendees (non-contestants)?
Maybe I should have been more specific. I’ve never been to one of these before. On your schedule of events, you list vendor times 5PM – 10PM on Friday, is that the vendor food you refer to? Will there be vendors selling BBQ? All I care about is, when and where do I get to have some BBQ! Thank you.
Yes, there are two BBQ vendors
John, Please see the updated schedule of events for more current times. This is a KCBS competition that is open to the public to come and observe. Many of the teams are quite social and will answer questions and talk about their cooking. Teams generally will not give out samples or feed the public for a variety of reasons. We will have BBQ and other vendors at two locations at the competition.
